  2. Information and management systems for the service of academicians in particular, and services to the general public in general;

  3. Mutually beneficial cooperation with institutions and institutions at home and abroad, especially in the realization of the tridharma of higher education.

With their vision and mission, the university showed their excellent quality in education through accommodating and providing our needs during our entire stay in Indonesia.

I am very privileged that I was destined to Indonesia. Furthermore, I am very honored because my receiving university is well - accommodating. Universitas Negeri Makassar (State University of Makassar) is one of the best universities in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The university has 9 Faculties with different programs including education. The school also offers a post graduate program from masters to doctorate degree. They are equipped with facilities that are technology - based and modernized like building - up their ICT Center, Language Center, Entrepreneurship Center, and other which uphold the goals of the university. The school has six campuses; the 4 one are located within the city of Makassar and the other two is located at the regional area. The said university is also equipped with research centers including the center of educational development.

The university hones us also on becoming a globally competent teachers in the near future. Before I started my teaching experience, our coordinator conducted a micro-teaching. Through this, she was able to know where grade level should I be in. They also gives us enough knowledge about their culture, their way of teaching and even some techniques in dealing students in Indonesia.

Knowing one's culture and way of life is not an easy task however, the university ensure that we will not feel different with their environment. They held a one - day orientation for all the SEA Teachers participants including the introduction of their language and some interesting places in their country. The university also gives us full accommodation and ensures that all our needs are met.
